Making Everyday a Thankful Day

Thankful Heart pin53Making Everyday a Thankful Day

Psalms 95:2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

The invitation to come before God’s presence with thanksgiving is not a one-day invitation.  Though one day has been set aside as a holiday for families to eat together and say what they are thankful for, the invitation to come into God’s presence is an everyday of every year invitation.  Should you accept the invitation, you will always be welcomed.  When you go to meet with Him, approach Him with a grateful heart and take the gift of a joyful noise.  Your ability to sing, play an instrument or dance before God is not in question here.  Ephesians says to sing and make music from your heart unto the LORD.  David danced, Miriam played the tambourine, sang and danced and Paul and Silas sang in their jail cells.  From a thankful heart springs forth a joyful noise, which is readily received by God.  Make every day your day of thanksgiving and make joyful noises for God’s continual goodness extended to you.

Prayer for today:  Father, I thank you for my family, for love, peace, and joy and especially Your unfailing love for me.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
