New Citizen – New Home
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
For the believer, any time devoted to worry is wasted time in a foreign country. Worry is like unto a country, which consists of a lot of territory. You are the territory and worry is not satisfied conquering a small piece of you. It wants all of you. When an individual applies for citizenship in another country, he may voluntarily renounce the country in which he is leaving. God, on the other hand, has commanded you to renounce your citizenship in the country of Worry. How is this accomplished? Through prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving, you make your request known to God and resist the pull of worry on you. In so doing, worry, which is a tool of your adversary, the devil, will have to leave you alone. Once you have renounced worry, it is important to follow up with a new mindset, a Christ-like mindset. Begin to think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and the good reports that are found in the territory that Christ occupies.

Prayer for today: Father, I voluntarily renounce my citizenship from worry. I claim the territory in which Christ lives as my home. Therefore, I am free from worry. In JESUS name, AMEN.
Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
Love
