Receive Your Blessings

II Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Fear can cause you to miss out on your blessings.  Because God knows that the spirit of timidity continuously tries to attach itself to His people, God continuously tells us to “fear not”.  He told Zechariah and Mary to fear not.  As a result, they were blessed with the forerunner of Jesus and the Savior of the world.  God told Zion to fear not. As a result, God said they would no longer live in shame, humiliation, or disgrace, according to the covenant He made with them when they came out of Egypt. They, as well as us, were blessed by His Spirit remaining in their midst. God is saying to you, “Fear not”. As a result of knowing that you have an everlasting covenant with God, your Father, you have been blessed with power from on high, the love of God and the mind of Christ.  Bind the spirit of fear and receive the blessings that God has bestowed upon you.

Prayer for today:  Father, in the name of JESUS, I bind the spirit of fear from overtaking me.  I commit this day to surrender to the power, love and soundness of mind that you have bestowed upon me.  AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
