There Shall Be a Performance

Luke 1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

God’s performance of His word was not dependent upon Mary’s faith though we know that she believed and was blessed.  When God makes a promise, He will fulfill it.  If you are not willing to believe Him, the promise will still take place, but it will just take place in someone else’s life.  You will wonder why it happened for them and not for you?  Could it be because you did not believe?  Isaiah prophesied long ago that “a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders, and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this”.  Mary believed and for it she was highly favored by God.  Have faith in God’s ability and willingness and there shall be a performance in your life.

Prayer for today:  Father, I believe and am eternally grateful that there shall be a performance, even in me.  In JESUS name, AMEN.
