A New and Great Year

Isaiah 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

This is the year of total surrender.  God will not surrender to our will.  We must surrender our will to His will.  As a result, we can have great expectation followed by endless rejoicing as we see the mighty move of God in our lives and the lives of others, as never before.  The Psalmist prayed, (Psalms 86:11-13) “Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. ¹²I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And will glorify Your name forever. ¹³For Your lovingkindness toward me is great, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.…(NASB).  Last year, God was our Deliverer and He shall be our Deliverer this year as well.  So give Him thanks for a new year.  As you surrender your all to Him, He will bless you, enlarge your territory, keep you from evil, manifest His abundant love toward you and give you His all-encompassing salvation.  This is a new and great year!

Prayer for today:  Father, my heart is filled with excitement and expectation.  I shall rejoice for I know that you shall do a new thing in me this year.  Therefore, I surrender my will and conform to your will for me.   In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
