Be Encouraged: Christ is the Healer

Luke 6:7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.

Be encouraged. Christ the Healer is not bound by man-made laws. He can heal and restore any day of the week. There was a man with a withered right hand in the synagogue as Jesus taught on the Sabbath. The scribes and Pharisees had declared that it was unlawful to heal on the sabbath. They watch Jesus, to see if He would heal him. Knowing their thoughts, Jesus told the man with the withered hand to get up and stand in front of everyone. Then He asked the scribes and the Pharisees, “Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?” When they did not answer Him, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand”. In faith, he obeyed and his hand was restored whole. Healing is in your salvation package. To take hold of it, faith says to do exactly what the LORD says. This is the sabbath; He is the Healer; He will restore whole whatever is ailing you. Be encouraged.

Prayer for today: Father, by faith, I take hold of my healing in every area of my life. Thank you for restoring me whole. In JESUS’ name, AMEN.
