How to Love Like God

Matthew 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Your reward comes from loving your enemies.  That’s a hard saying.  But Jesus taught that you should love your enemies and do good to them that hate you; to bless and pray for them that curse and mistreat you.  If they hit you on the cheek, offer them the other one; if they steal your coat give them your shirt also.  Your God will provide you with more than you lost.  If someone ask you to give to them, don’t expect anything in return.  Remember that you should do to others as you would like for them to do for you.  Further, He taught that if you love people who love you, or do good to them who do good to you, or lend to them hoping for a return, what good is that to you.  Sinners do the same thing to one another.   The world teaches “pay-back”, but Jesus taught vengeance is His.  He will repay.  You just let His love flow through you, do good and He will do the rest.
