Shameless, Persistent Prayer

blackchurchwomen_zpsa79b81efJudges 6:16 And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

Shameless, persistence in prayer does not mean that you should fleece God.  However, it does mean to pray according to God’s word, which is His will, until you get results.  God promised Gideon victory.  So Gideon prayed and asked God for two miraculous signs to confirm His promise.   He laid a fleece of wool on the floor and prayed that dew would be on the fleece only and not on the floor where the fleece lay as assurance that God would keep His promise to save Israel by his hand.  He asked God not to be angry with him, but would He reverse the miracle by letting the dew fall on the floor only and let the fleece, which lay on the floor, be dry.  Because of God’s great love for you, He is very accommodating when you have a pure heart and your desire is to diligently seek to do His will.  God did as Gideon prayed and He will do what you asked according to His word.  Be shamelessly persistent in your prayers until you get the results and then walk in God’s promise.

Prayer for today:  Father, I shamelessly and persistently pray in faith with a thankful heart for you hearing and answering my prayer.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
