A Well-Kept Person

When asked, “What does it mean to be kept?”  The urban definition refers to something or someone that is maintained, protected, and provided for by a sugar daddy or a sugar momma.   Based on that definition, David, the shepherd, would be considered a sugar daddy because he lovingly cared for his father’s sheep, putting his own life at risk to protect and provide for them.  But there is a greater shepherd than David.  Even David confessed that the LORD was his shepherd.  The LORD is the Chief Shepherd, the Good Shepherd, the Great Shepherd and those who put their trust in Him are called His sheep.  The sheep lack for no good thing.  They have everything they need in the LORD.  He saves, frees, delivers, avenges, defends, helps, heals, preserves, rescues, prospers, saves and gives peace and victory to His sheep.  Jesus went to the cross to ensure that those who believe and received Him are His kept sheep in this world and throughout all eternity.  Receive the Shepherd today; follow Him; be the best well-kept person.

Prayer for today:  LORD, I acknowledge that you are my SHEPHERD and that I am well-kept by you. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
