Worry Does Not Belong to You

worry2Psalms 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Worry is a burden.  Jesus paid it all so that you can carry it all to Him and leave it there.  He said don’t worry about anything.  When worry, the thoughts of defeat and or condemnation try to visit you, there are steps that you must take:  1) Pray.  Earnestly ask your heavenly Father to walk with you through the valley of worry, to make your crooked road straight and to exchange your worry for His peace.  2) Supplicate. Let your prayers be heartfelt and specific arising out of a deep personal urgent need. 3) Change your thought process.  Think about Jesus, who is true and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable, excellent and worthy of praise.  4) Continually thank the LORD and maintain a confident attitude that whatever you ask according to God’s will (word) He will do.  When these steps are applied to worry, the peace of God will show up in your life.  You were not designed to carry the heavy burden of worry.  He wants you to throw them upon Him for He knows just what to do with them.

Prayer for today:  Father, I thank you for allowing me to cast my worries upon you.  Thank you for giving me your peace in exchange for them.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
