Consider Doing It All Day Long

Psalms 44:8 In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

In the past, I have shied away from people who bragged all the time.  I have since learned that it is okay to brag as long as God is at the center of your bragging.  Selah means to pause and think about it.  Pause and think about how God has brought you through all of your past challenges.  You know this because you are still standing.  Pause and think about how He has turned your mourning into dancing and clothed you with gladness.  Pause and think about how He has blessed you in spite of yourself.  Pause and think…  Today is a good day to just Selah.  The time has come for you to be braggadocious.  Brag about the goodness of the LORD.  Let His praises continually be in your mouth. Give God what is due him – all of your praise, all of your crazy, out loud, and on purpose praise all day long.  David did it, why not consider doing it all day long, as well?

Prayer for today:  Heavenly Father, I purpose in my heart to brag on You and praise You all day long for your awesome love for me.   In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
