IMPACT!

ImpactMark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Some of us may travel the globe, while others of us may travel throughout our respective countries, and still others of us may only travel in the communities in which we live.  Whatever the case, we were created in the image and likeness of God and commanded to impact our world (our social system) just as our Father God has done.  Impact means to productively and divinely influence someone or something.  At the pool called Bethesda, people witnessed Jesus healing a man who had been paralyzed for 38 years.  This miracle impacted the people so much so that they followed Jesus to a desert place.  Seeing the multitude, Jesus had compassion on them, which led Him to feed 5,000 plus women and children with five barley loaves, and two small fishes, performing yet another miracle.  Though you may not impact your world by healing a paralyzed person or by feeding 5,000 plus, but you most certainly can have an impact upon your world.  Your impact may be telling people about Jesus, your Saviour and LORD.  You may make an impact through your prayers.  You may make an impact through your giving.  You may make an impact through serving God by serving others: feeding the hungry; giving water to the thirsty; providing shelter to the homeless; clothing the naked; or visiting the sick and those imprisoned.  Search the scriptures, pray, and be led by the Holy Spirit to productively and divinely make an impact.  Jesus said, “…When you did it to these my brothers, you were doing it to me”. (TLB)  How will you impact your world?  Make an IMPACT!

Prayer for today:  Father, I ask that Holy Spirit remind me daily that it is not about me.  Remind me that it is about productively and divinely influencing my world by the power of Holy Spirit to bring glory unto You.   In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
