Where Will He Find Pleasure?

Pleasure - you were plannedPsalms 147:11 The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Do you want the LORD to show up, rearrange and change things in your life? If the answer is yes, then will your will to praise Him in the good times as well as the times that you need Him to come to your rescue. Allow Holy Spirit to help you to remember how the LORD, God has blessed you in the past. David made a practice of rehearsing how the LORD had delivered him from the paws of a lion and a bear. Each time he rehearsed, he grew stronger and stronger in the LORD. His respect for the LORD was so great that he developed a lively hope in the LORDs favor toward him. So when David faced his giant (Goliath), his hope for deliverance was not an issue because he knew and had confidence that since God had delivered him before that He would do it again. That same kind of hope with respectful fear gives God pleasure. God does not take pleasure in your ability. No, God takes pleasure in your respect for Him. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name. Praise Him both privately and publically. Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving. The world’s respect for the LORD is declining, which is all the more reason for you to pray, praise, worship, rehearse and sing unto the LORD. For you confidently know by the word of God that the LORD takes pleasure in them that reverently fear Him and in those that hope continually in His mercy. The power to give the LORD the pleasure that He desires is in you by the power of Holy Spirit. Give it to Him!
