Shout for Joy! Your Dart Stopper is Here!

Shout for Joy Jump-for-Joy-trimPsalms 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Though at times it may not seem true, but every believer has a reason to be joyful. David vowed to be joyful if the LORD would let his enemies be destroyed in the net they had prepared for him. Every fiery dart launched at you is your enemy. There are darts of sickness and disease. There are darts of lack, barely enough or not enough. There are darts of depression, oppression, and suppression. There are darts of delay, destruction, and death. There are darts of lies. There are darts of procrastination. There are so many darts that your enemy, the adversary, has prepared to launch at you. David declared that his heart and mind would be refreshed with exceedingly great joy in the LORD and in His salvation if the LORD, his God would come to his rescue. To maintain joyfulness, get in the habit of rehearsing your past victories in Christ. He is your salvation in every situation. Refuse to rejoice in secret. Say as David said, “…Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servants. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.” The shield of faith, which is in the LORD, Jesus Christ, is your defense against the fiery darts of your adversary. Trust in the LORD of Heaven’s Armies to protect, preserve, and deliver you to safety. Barnes said it this way, “Let me be delivered; let my friends see that God is on my side, and that they have occasion to rejoice in his merciful interposition in my behalf”.  Shout for joy! Your dart stopper is here.
