Whatever He Said, He’s Going to Do It!

FaithfulII Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

God is faithful even when we are not. He is not a mere mortal whose word is not dependable. His faithfulness is not dependent upon whether we believe His word or not. He cannot deny himself. The LORD God is God; He is the faithful God, who keeps His covenant of love to a thousand generations to those who love Him and keep His commandments. Paul asked the question, “What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?” No, of course not. No one has an advantage, Jew or Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, God remains faithful. God promised Abraham that He would make him a great nation, bless him, and make his name great. He promised to bless those who bless Abraham and to curse those who curse him, and in him all the families of the earth will be blessed. King Balak asked the prophet Balaam to curse the nation of Israel. He could not because of the promise God made to Abraham. Each time Balaam attempted to curse Israel, the LORD would put a blessing in His mouth. Through the Spirit of Adoption, we who believe have received sonship and with sonship, we have become joint heirs with Christ. Whatever God has said, He will perform it. Trust and obey God and receive through Christ Jesus the blessings of Abraham. God is faithful.

Prayer for today: Father, I thank you that you are faithful even when I fail to be faithful. Thanks for your word and your covenant love for me and all of my generations. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
