How to Get the Desired Results, Part 4

Remember WhenPsalms 119:49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

4.) Remind God of His word to get the desired results.  It is not as if God has forgotten His promises to you; it is simply that He commanded you to put Him in remembrance of His word.  Moses prayed shamelessly and persistently in faith for 40 days and 40 nights because God said He was going to destroy the Israelites for building a golden calf to worship instead of Him.  Moses reminded God that the Israelites were His inheritance, His people.  He reminded God of the promises He had made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  He asked God to overlook what they had done.  David’s bold, shameless and persistent faith-led approach to God, put God in remembrance of His promises to him.  He said, “Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.  My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life”.  (Psalms119:49-50)   Had Moses and David not known God’s word, they would not have been able to remind God of His promises.  When you remind God of His word, you are demonstrating to Him that you have studied His word; that you are reading His last will and testament of promises continuously; and that you understand the requirement stated to receive your inheritance.  The requirements are “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’  The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  There is no commandment greater than these.”  Remember that God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind”.  If He said it, He will do it.  As a result, you can stand on the promises of God in faith knowing that His promises are “Yea and Amen” in Christ Jesus.  Locate your promises in the word; remind God of His word.  Now say, “Father, remember when you said to me, your servant,  “…”  In JESUS name, AMEN.  Remember: 1.) Be shamelessly persistence in faith and in prayer. 2.) Expect Results. 3.) Don’t beg God. 4.)  Remind God of His word to get the desired results.

Prayer for today:  Father, I am your servant and my righteousness is of you in Christ Jesus.  You said, no weapon formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgment thou shalt condemn. Thank you, Father, for my heritage.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
