Come!

worship_bigPsalms 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

When Israel left Egypt, they begged Aaron to make them gods so they could worship them. Every since that day, people have made gods of a variety things even people. Misplaced worship has been given to cars, homes, bank accounts etc. You name it and someone has worshiped it. Psalms 115 says, “4Their idols [gods] are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. 5They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: 6They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: 7They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. 8They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them. So the question becomes, “Why worship gods, who are unable to empathize with your weaknesses or who have never been tempted as you have been and yet have not sinned”? Worship is due our High Priest, Jesus the Christ alone. All worship, praise, honor, and glory are due Him. Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness. Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his footstool; He is holy. Know this beloved, the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are his; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Come! Let us adore Him! It is better to worship Him now rather than later. Because Jesus humbled himself even to the point of death for you and me, God highly exalted Him. God bestowed a name upon Him that is above every name. Before it is all over, the mention of Jesus’ name will cause EVERY KNEE TO BOW and confess that He is LORD to the glory of God, whether they are in heaven or on the earth or under the earth. Come! Join me as I bow down to worship our LORD for He is our maker and our Saviour.
