Do You Know How to Fight?

I Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

It does not matter what station you are in life, good or it could definitely be better, always remember the bigger picture. God has a plan for you, individually. He plans to give you peace in whatever situation you are in, to rescue you from evil and to give you eternal life with Him. In the meantime, this is how you fight. You are to remain steadfast in faith; Avail yourself to good works; Be ready to give generously for the kingdom’s sake; and, Share the Good News of the gospel that Jesus Christ saves. In this way, you will be laying up treasure for yourself as a firm foundation for your future, so that you may take hold of the life that is truly life, right now and throughout all eternity. This is your year to see the manifestation, visitation, and demonstration of God’s awesome power in your life.  Position your heart and your hands to receive God’s best. He is totally able and totally willing to fulfill His plan in you. Cooperate with Him and you will see His mighty hand at work in you and through you.

Prayer for Today:   Father, by faith, I lay up treasure as a firm foundation as I fight the good fight of faith to give you glory and to lay hold of eternal life. In JESUS name, AMEN.
