The Connection

connecting-plugs-428x428Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Salvation is the gift of God given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.  If salvation is by grace through faith, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace and salvation is not attainable. Grace is a benefit, favor, liberality and it is the divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in the life of a believer.  Grace is also beauty.  The beauty is that you do not have to work to be saved, delivered, protected, healed, and preserved or to do well or be made whole.  If you work for your salvation, then you would have the legal right to brag about your righteousness and how you worked your way to salvation.  However, you are to do the works of God to demonstrate your love for Him and to introduce others to the wonderful gift of God through faith.  When grace is connected to your faith, they will produce salvation.

Prayer for today:  Father, I thank you for grace and salvation.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
