The Last Laugh

Matthew 9:24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

Everyone will not believe or support you when you stand on the promises of God, but stand in faith anyway. The promises God made to you in His word are not dead, though they may be asleep in you at this present moment. In the meantime, be firm in your conviction that the LORD’s promises are for you; don’t move away from His promises, but rather be immovable; and do the work of the LORD until the promises manifest in your life. As Jesus put all the unbelievers out of the ruler’s house, He declared that the ruler’s little girl was not dead but rather she was asleep. They, of course, laughed at Jesus. Many times you will have to get rid of those who are laughing at you and your LORD. The LORD is able and willing to resurrect His promises so that they may come alive in your life again. Satan will continuously try to convince you otherwise, but stand and watch the LORD get the last laugh.

Prayer for today: Father, thank you for the promises you have made to me. I will stand in faith until I see them. In JESUS name, AMEN.
