You Shall Recover It All

Pursue Overtake Recover All 9I Samuel 30:8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

Though a man may be with fault, a man after God’s own heart will repent of his wrongful deeds and God will hear and answer his prayer.  David was such a man.  He was a man of prayer.  When David and his men returned to Ziklag, they discovered that the Amalekites, their enemies, had invaded the city, burned it with fire and taken their wives and children.  David prayed, “Shall I pursue after this troop?  Shall I overtake them?’  God answered him, ‘Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all”’.  When you are uncertain about what to do or you want to give up, know that it is Satan, your adversary, who is always after you, your family and your peace and joy.  Go to God in prayer.  Ask Him how to pursue your enemy.  It is not God’s will that any should perish.  God will answer your steadfast prayer:  Pursue: you shall overtake him and you shall recover it (them) all.  Hallelujah!

Prayer for today:  Father, according to your word, I shall pursue, overtake my enemy and recover all that he has stolen from me.  In JESUS’ name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
