The Secret to Being Completely Satisfied

matt-5-6Any way you bless me, LORD, I’ll be satisfied!  Being fully satisfied is not being complacent but rather being content. Complacent is a feeling of being satisfied with how things are and not wanting to try to make them better.  Whereas contentment is knowing the secret to experiencing joy, being well-pleased and satisfied in every situation, whether living in plenty or living in lack, while seeking to make the necessary changes to receive the fullness of God.  After having gone without food or drink for an extended period of time, you will seek to fill that need.  When you have a strong desire for the LORD, you will seek to be completely filled to the overflow with Him.  The secret to being completely satisfied is (ginosko) to really know God through being hungry and thirsty for a right relationship with Him, to seek to change to become like Him, to know that change is possible through Christ, the strengthener and to be content while being changed.   Whoever pursues God’s righteousness and love will be satisfied with life, prosperity and honor.

Prayer for today:  Father, I thank you for revealing your secret to being completely satisfied.  Help me, I pray, to diligently and continually pursue you.   In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
